I had the opportunity to challenge, teach, and love on 4 amazing boys this week. I came to Transnistria, Moldova not knowing what to expect, not knowing that the Lord was going to use me in such a powerful way.
I went to an orphanage and set my room up with Christa. I was super excited to start the week, I thought I'd be only English, little did I know Lord would use 4, 10 year olds to change my life. As they got out of the van, my boys were mad and hated each other. They literally fought every 5 minutes over the stupidest stuff. We got them all settled in and had our first celebration time, during that time they just sat there with grins on their faces not wanting to do anything. I prayed that night that God would something in their hearts.
The next few days were a struggle. The boys continued to fight and I more frustrated. It wasn't until Wednesday that they all finally had that light bulb moment. All 4 boys literally had a 360 around. They learned to say sorry to each other, and forgive. They were required to memorize 3 verses from the Bible and only 1 of our boys really tried. By the end of the week, all 4 boys wanted to memorize them and each one won a prize.
This week definitely grew me, the boy asked questions where we had to dig into the word to answer their questions. It was great! We went to a real European soccer game and had games the rest of the week. The boys went home knowing God and loving one another. It was awesome to see.

Update on my financial status for the year:
Total Raised- $8161.58
Total Needed $15,500
Total Balance still need to raise- $7338.35
By October 1st I need my total raised to be $11,000.
