We all have a Purpose. I heard from one of my friends “If you have a pulse, You have a purpose.” And I LOVE that! God will use you in any way, shape and form. He is molding you just the way that you are; through all the hurt that you feel, stumbles you have been through, He is molding you to where you need to be.
This past week has been beyond crazy. I am beginning all the insane work of fundraising. To all of my teammates who have gone before me, they know how it is and I’m amazed none of us have gotten carpal tunnel. Really and truly. Every time I was signing a fundraising letter or thinking of one more name to add to the list or even went to go swipe my debit card to buy something to mail the letters, I knew that all the funds were going to come through. Now my parents, they know that if it’s God’s plan, He’ll show the money. Me? I have no doubt, no matter how many times I look at the numbers, look at the date, look at everything I need to get before I leave even for camp in a few weeks, I know that God has it under control. Sure, that doesn’t mean I’m not scared. I’m totally terrified. But here’s the cool thing about fear. We can silence it.
We simply have to focus so much on what God’s plan is for us and what the outcome of His will is that we no longer hear that little voice that is trying to scream over everything else.
Think about that this week as you try and do something out of your comfort zone. Lord knows I will be! I continue to get the validation day in and day out that this amazing adventure is what God is calling me on. So look for those signs, no matter how small or insignificant someone else might think them to be, we know they aren’t. And silence the fear, because in actuality, it’s just someone wanting attention that you shouldn’t give; your eyes should be on God and His amazing plan for you.
