Yes, that's me. the first Salvadoran going to The World Race.
Please forgive me! I promised to write in my blog weekly, but this has been a busy month for me and now I'll tell you everything that has happened since I left my country, my home, my family and friends to pursue this adventure God has for me.
I have been in the U.S. for almost a month, and not coming back to my house until a year, God will take care of my family, my friends and my ministry until then.
So I have some things to tell, this time in particular I would like to tell you about 3 things:
1. An update about the fund raising
2. Training Camp
3. A project called “Unsong Heroes”…
So here we go!
Fundraising! I need to raise $ 6,500 by June 19, I need $ 1,500 to reach that number, at this time is less than a week to reach that goal.
This morning was very sad / disappointed thinking about this, but God is amazing and reminded me this: "Give thanks for each test and each problem, and only look attentively as God will transform all these things into a blessing!" so I will trust in the Lord and I will not have fear or doubt, He is my strength and my song. But I need the blessing and help of all of you who are reading, ways to help are praying for me, making financial donations and sharing my story with people who might be interested in prayer or finance my mission trip.

Training Camp! I met my team, my new family. Squad T is amazing! It's amazing how God can move so many people in so little time and prepare them all together for this trip.
I can not tell you everything that happened in training camp but I'll try to describe this list: Sermons, Songs, Worship, Food very curious, The Holy Spirit everywhere, Praise Nights, Rain, Humidity, Orange Everywhere, Bell Stores, Heavy Backpacks, icy showers, Humility, Forgiveness, Beautiful People, Trainers, Leaders, Different Personalities, Speaking in Tongues, Shirts, T-Rex, Lamps, laughs and hugs, Sweat, Lots of water, Sleeping on a Bus, Hammocks, Mud, Team dynamics, Lake, mountains, Forest, Fun haircuts, Jokes, Dances, Brothers and Sisters, International Food Market, Build a Shelter! What more could you want? It was exactly what we needed. And this is just the beginning of a great adventure. Thank you very much God.
I learned that the love of God brings people together and will take us on a journey that will change our lives, we are servants of his kingdom, that week of training will be in our hearts forever.

Unsong Heroes! Basically, The World Race needs more ministry contacts around the world, so they’re appointing people on the field to actively look for such contacts and set up partnerships. In addition to expanding their network, The World race is also interested in identifying "unsung heroes" in ministry around the world. They consider an unsung hero to be someone who is "dedicated to serving some of the most impoverished populations in the world, [especially if the 'hero'] rarely receives recognition for their dedication and service."
I was recently chosen to be one of the two “Unsong Heroes Coordinators” for this program on my squad. My partner for the year is the lovely miss Tina Meyer. I'm so excited about this position, for many reasons: Firstly, working with UHC puts me in a position to meet a lot of really awesome people around the world, people who are already running really fruitful, successful ministries. I’ll get to contact these people, screen them based on criteria from AIM, and potentially set up appointments to work with them and/or assess the possibility of a partnership with AIM.

14 But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord I say, “You are my God.”
15 My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me.

Si, ese soy yo. El primer Salvadoreño que va en The World Race.
Por favor perdonenme! les prometi escribir en mi blog semanalmente, pero este ha sido un mes tan ocupado para mi y ahora les voy a contar todo lo que ha sucedido desde que deje mi pais, mi hogar, mi familia y amigos por perseguir esta aventura que Dios tiene para mi.
Yo he estado en los Estados Unidos desde hace ya casi un mes, y no volvere a mi casa hasta en un año. Dios cuidara de mi familia, mis amigos y mi ministerio hasta entonces.
Asi que tengo algunas cosas que contar, en esta oportunidad en particular me gustaria contarles acerca de 3 cosas:
1. Una actualizacion acerca de la recaudacion de fondos
2. Campamento de entrenamiento
3. proyecto llamado “Los Heroes Anonimos”
Así que aqui vamos!
Recaudacion de Fondos! yo necesito recaudar $6500 antes del 19 de junio, necesito $1500 para llegar a ese numero, en este momento es menos de una semana para alcanzar esa meta.
Esta manana estaba muy triste/decepcionado pensando sobre esto, pero Dios es asombroso y me recordo esto: "Da las gracias por cada prueba y cada problema y solamente mira con atencion como Dios Transformara todas esas cosas en una bendicion!" asi que Confiare en el Senor y no tendre miedo o dudas, El es mi fuerza y mi cancion. Pero necesito de la bendicion y ayuda de todos ustedes que estan leyendo, las maneras de ayudarme son orar por mi, haciendo donaciones financieras y compartiendo mi historia con personas que podrian estar interesadas en orar o financiar mi viaje misionero.

Campamento de entrenamiento! conoci a mi equipo, mi nueva familia. Escuadron T es asombroso! Es increible como Dios puede mover a tantas personas en tan poco tiempo y prepararnos a todos juntos para este viaje.
No puedo contarles todo lo que paso en en camamento de entrenamiento pero tratare de describirlo con esta lista: Predicas, Canciones, Oracion, Comida muy curiosa, El Espiritu Santo por todos lados, Noches de Alabanzas, Lluvia, Humedad, Color Anaranjado por todas partes, Tiendas de Campana, Pesadas Mochilas, Duchas heladas, Humildad, Perdon, Hermosas Personas, Entrenadores, Lideres, Diferentes Personalidades, Hablar en Lenguas, Camisas de T- Rex , Lamparas, Risas y Abrazos, Sudor, Mucha agua, Dormir en un Autobus Amarillo, Hamacas, Lodo, Dinamicas de Tquipo, Lago, Montanas, Bosque, Curiosos Cortes de Pelo, Bromas, Bailes, Hermanos y Hermanas, Mercado de Comida Internacional, Construir un Refugio!! Que mas puedes pedir? Fue exactamente lo que necesitabamos. Y esto solamente es el principio de una gran aventura. Muchas gracias Dios.
Aprendi que el amor a Dios une a las personas y va a llevarnos en un viaje que cambiara nuestras vidas, seremos sirvientes de su reino, esa semana de entrenamiento va a estar en nuestros corazones para siempre.
Heroes Anominos! Básicamente, the World Race necesita más contactos de ministerios de todo el mundo, por lo que se nombro a personas en los equipos para buscar activamente los contactos y establecer alianzas.
