Family, Friends, Acquaintances, Hello and Welcome to the Adventure!!!
Come, lean in and listen to what the Lord is calling me into! Buckle up guys, this is going to be so much fun!
Here’s the breakdown sweet friends…
Two years ago, a friend told me about the World Race because she knew that I was born with an adventurous heart and free spirit.
I took the quickly developed dream to the Lord and gave it over to Him; asking that His will would be done and that one day, He would be gracious enough to take me on the World Race with Him and His children.
It weighed on my heart and continued to sink deep.
Then, a few months ago, I heard His voice thunder.
He told me it was time!!!!
He was fulfilling a promise to me and my heart and it overwhelmed me with excitement and delight.
I began the application process, then the online interview and finally came the phone interview. Within a few short weeks, I had been accepted to partner with the mission of Jesus and what He is doing through this amazing organization and program.
Jesus was so faithful to meet me in my prayers, His scriptures and worship. He guided me through the process of acceptance and filled my heart with an overabundance of peace and joy.
It’s a leap of faith you know. A road that is less traveled. A road where you can’t see the next foot step in front of the other one. It’s scary and unknown. But you see, that’s the whole point.
That road my friends, is the way that we are supposed to live. A way where Jesus excites us, meets us, guides us, pushes us and delights us. He will make us trust Him full-heartedly and nudge us into a place where we are uncomfortable.
But His joy, thrill, growth, pain, and deep satisfaction is found along this myserteous road.
The understanding of this road is a way of life. It is the great divide. My heart was made to choose the road unseen, the life full of wonder and mystery, the life that is determined to spread the glory of our Heavenly Father. It is the only road that will quench the thirst and feed the hunger inside my soul. This is the road where Jesus holds my hand and leads me through the darkest valley and up to the highest mountain top.
It’s where my heart catches fire for the deep glory of the Lord.
There’s a voice calling, calling me higher than the patterns of this world.
It’s time for me to go chase it with Jesus as my right hand man and my inner compass.
