I have the honor of being team leader for this amazing group of Christ's disciples. From left to right is myself, , Laura Hofer, Katherine Lynnae, Heather West, Lolita, and Davis Partrick! Lolita will be our team and squad treasurer, and Davis is our squad safety officer.
Our name "Whispered Revival" is our teams interpretation of what we feel we are called to do on this journey. The Spirit is already doing God's work amongst the nations and we are called to tune into the Spirit's direction as our discipleship aims to reflect the level of faith of Christ's earliest followers. No more religious rituals, empty liturgy, or lukewarm faith. Our team is called to be vulnerable and walk boldly in God's spirit.
This scene was created during team time when my group was instructed to build. I had different members than my current team that contributed to this representation of our journey as world racers. The light symbolizes God's word leading the way as we set out to "Clothe the naked, heal the sick, and feed the hungry". To the right of the bible is our old identity we are leaving behind on the race in order to intentionally pursue the Lord and find our new identity in him (indicated on the left of bibles by flowers on the ID's). The camera focused on the Bible represents our documentation of our journey to inspire future disciples! This scene came together in just over 20 minutes with the supplies we just happened to have on us!
