There are lyrics by The Head and the Heart, which say
“My roots have grown but I don’t know where they are.”
The last 2+ years I have been living namely out of a back pack and traveling from here to there and back again.
Well, I’m tired of this nomadic life style.
Even further back, since graduating from college in 07′ the longest I have lived anywhere for a consistent time period was about a year. That’s 5+ years of moving across the states and countries, finding community and uprooting all over again.
Don’t hear me complaining about this life that I have been so blessed to live.
Its because of all these adventures that I am the person I am today and I am ever so grateful
that the Lord has called me to this life style…at least for its season.
But…
I believe that season is coming to an end.
This spring, I am moving to Gainesville GA to work on staff with Adventures In Missions, specifically working with those going on the World Race.
To mentor, coach and encourage them along in their journey
I have traveled hundreds of thousands of miles with Adventures people. I have cried with them. I have prayed with and for them. We have ministered together to the lost.
We have helped feed the hungry. We have seen miracles happen together.
We have seen breathtaking, God inspired scenery. We have tasted the cultures of the world.
We have shared some incredible laughs and sometimes incredible hurts.
And even though I have spent 95% of my time with Adventures over seas in 4 different continents
those roots that were growing for 2+ years were actually growing in Gainesville GA.
I am looking for people who share the same passion for reaching the least and the Lost and empowering the Body of Christ to become the Beautiful Bride that the Lord sees her as. If you share this same passion and want to join me and the Lord in this next journey of my life or if you want to receive monthly updates please feel free to contact me at
[email protected]. Or if you feel so lead to support me financially you can click on the “Financially Support Me” link on the left side of the screen. As always Prayers are greatly appreciated.
