Faithful Readers,
About thirty years ago 2 brothers by the name of Robert and Khalis Bayyan Bell and
some friends started a group that has turned American culture around.
They spoke of good times; they spoke of world
unity; they spoke of observing feasts, and rejoicing in revelry. More
than all that, you probably know them
best for “Celebrate Good Times”, yes, I am indeed talking about Kool and the
Gang. “Celebrate good times, come
on! Celebrate good times, come on!” It most certainly is a time to
celebrate, by
the time you read this, God willing I and the rest of my squad will be in
Guatemala starting our 11 month journey to bring about God’s Kingdom in all the
world.
Since my last newsletter God has been more than gracious through you and everyone
else who has been a part of supporting me in the many ways from donating
financially or through prayer or through words of encouragement. I
feel so uplifted and loved and ready to
go. In the course of the last 2 months,
God through the unity of His Body has raised over 10 thousand dollars which
puts me ever so close to being fully funded before I even take off, which is
such a huge blessing and a burden off my shoulders. I can’t even
begin to express my gratitude
and my humble thankfulness to your faithfulness in supporting not just me but
the cause of spreading the Kingdom of God to some of the most wrecked areas of
the world.

During the course of this last month, I have been traveling around seeing friends and
family and through my travels have found the Body being the incarnate body of
Christ. Everywhere I have gone, I have
been welcomed as family. I have never
had a place that I didn’t have a bed or food to eat. Many of you have
laid hands on me and prayed
over me, my travels and my team. I
believe whole heartedly that just as you have been ever so gracious to me, a
servant of our Lord Jesus, that you have been gracious to our Lord and He will
honor you for your hospitality and genuine love and compassion. I ask
that you continue to share the love
that you have given to me to your community and to those you come into contact
with on a regular basis as I will do my best to do the same. That’s
the beauty of joining God’s Kingdom,
that just as you freely receive, you can freely give to others and ask them to
do the same thing. What a Glorious God we serve.

I continue to humbly ask for prayer for the following: Ask God for the impossible
to happen during the next 11 months, that our faiths would be strengthened and
His glory shown through acts of obedience.
Pray for divine guidance as we seek to hear our leadings from the Holy
Spirit. I ask personally for humility to
rise strong and for pride to fall flat.
Pray for the Guatemalans that we will be interacting with on a regular
basis, that we might develop a strong bond built on the commonality of being
one body in Christ. Thank you all for your support, prayers and love.
