First off, I would like to apologize for my sporadic blogging. Second, I want to thank EVERYONE so far who has decided to donate and pray. I am so full of love and gratitude for each and every one of you. God has proved me wrong time and time again with how this has all played out. I remember feeling so incredibly overwhelmed with the amount of money I had to come up with before my first deadline. I told God, “If this is what I am supposed to do, please ensure that the money is in my account before my first deadline, and I will know this is what you want from me.” Not only did He do that, He actually provided more than I required.
I have learned so much about faith just from this experience. God has provided for me just like He promised. I will never run out and I will always have someone taking care of me. He has provided me with funds, with new friendships, as well as strengthening old ones, and with a wonderful growing and trusting relationship with Him.
My next step is training camp, in which I will probably be pushed physically and spiritually, I just ask for prayer in that. I also ask that you donate whatever you can – keep in mind that it’s not in the amount, it’s in the fact that you’re giving to something. What you give is always substantial. Also, that you will be praying for me in general. That I have the money and that I continue to step outside of my “shell” and am open to growth.
You guys are absolutely wonderful and I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you! My next deadline is December 18th, by that date I will need to have $10,000 raised all together. Thank you again so much!
