There is something about honesty that makes people feel a little awkward. Maybe its the vulnerability in ones voice as they speak it or the fear in their eyes asking “what’s going to happen?”  But I think that, no matter how hard it is to say, it’s the only way to show people who you truly are, Who you truly aren’t, and what you truly want.

This is who I truly am:I am a Child of God with a servant’s heart. I want to follow Christ to the ends of the Earth and touch people in His name along the way. I don’t know what I’m doing, I may be in too deep and I’m scared to death but the only way to find out if it right is by doing it.

This is who I’m not: I am not someone that gives up, I do not lose faith easily, and I do not lose sight of my goals.

This is what I truly want: I want to go to different places and love different people. I want to learn from different cultures and live like them. I want to trust God with my life and get closer to him through easy and hard times. But what I want the most is a chance to do these things.

I have two weeks to raise $5,000 and one round trip ticket to Georgia.

Help me get there?

Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created. -Esther  4:14
