I live in the Silicon Valley; home of Facebook, Apple Inc, Yahoo!, Google, IBM, Adobe, McAfee, Symantec, and countless other high influence, high profile, yet household names. All my friends work for Apple, Google, IBM, and companies of that nature; If they don't, they're either in Med school or law school. I have friends that hack and design websites for a living. Needless to say, when you're my age and you work for one of these above mentioned Fortune 10 companies, you're brilliant.
My brother is currently a Structural Engineering graduate student at Stanford University and growing up he's pretty much trumped me in everything we've ever been a part of. He's even better than me at video games! Gosh. Needless to say, I've never considered myself smart. I'm mediocre at best, and I think everything I know is common sense. (read more)
