Almost five months until Central America.

Oh man, am I thrilled for this September.

I feel like it’s time to do an About me” section.

I live for Audrey Hepburn movies. My guess is that Heaven is going to have a constant loop of Breakfast at Tiffany’sSabrina, and Roman Holiday playing

I really want to get a Scripture tattoo, but every time I find my favorite verse, I fall in love with a new one. Jesus’ words are just too good.

Sam, my second oldest brother, got me into contra dancing.
Because no one ever knows what that is,
here’s a handy dandy video at your finest convenience.
Girls wear twirly skirts. Some guys wear twirly skirts. There’s a folk band.
Hours and hours of swing-ish, line dancing.
All in all it’s the most wonderful thing you’ll ever experience.

My dream car is a Volkswagon Camper. They have sinks in there, guys! Like where you can actually wash your hands. I’m not sure why you’d need to do that while driving, but I would really enjoy having that option.

I’m an avid believer that God has a sense of humor. And I love Bible jokes, too.
How does Moses make his coffee?…
He-brews it!!!

I belong outside. Hiking in the summer, snowboarding in the winter. That’s why I melt at thinking about backpacking for these upcoming nine months.

I love art. Making it, looking at it, talking about it. It’s a beautiful way of appreciating God’s creation.

My family is like the Island of Misfit Toys.
Aaron’s hair is two and a half times as long as mine.

Ben has had every color hair possible (blue, pink, green, brown)
and went through a phase where a sombrero was his staple.

When Sam would tutor me in Algebra, we’d find ourselves on incredible tangents resulting in him explaining the magnetic forces in the North and South poles.

My very wonderful mother, for the past two years, has had a calender titled ‘Nuns having fun’ next to her desk.
I.e. a nun skateboarding for the month of March.

And my stepfather, Adam, is still on a Pee-wee Herman-like
“I know you are but what am I” phase.

Welcome to my blog.
