Phil Wickham has this new song called Eden. Basically, it talks about how great it was for Adam to walk around the garden with God, totally unafraid, chilling with his daddy in the beauty that was Eden. (Listen here).
New Zealand is so breathtakingly beautiful-I imagine maybe it is almost as beautiful as Eden.
Creation truly echoes God’s beauty and shouts His glory. From the mountains to the beaches, God’s creativity and beauty is shown all around.
But even as beautiful as all the land is, as beautiful as this flower is:
None of it will even hold a candle to the beauty of heaven, or of God himself, shining for all to see.
We only get to enjoy New Zealand for a month, the earth for a lifetime, but eternity we will enjoy forever, in the presence and beauty of God.
PS-I will be working with kiddos 22.5/7 for the three days, so I will hopefully blog again on Saturday. Please be praying for love and grace and patience and understanding to overflow from the counselors, and for God to do big things as we serve Him here.
