My blogs have been a bit heavy lately but we also have a ton of fun on the Race! Here is my last “Never Have I Ever”. Enjoy!
- Had such a great off day at Phi Phi Island
- Mucked out a pond with a hoe, I was sweaty, smelly, and dirty but it was fun especially when you have great people to talk with and when you spend have the time laughing because they got their flip flops stuck in the mud
- Worshipped and interceded so much on a daily basis
- Helped bag sand to help build a coffee shop entirely out of rice bags
- Went to the mall for the sole purpose of sitting in Air Con
- Had so much bubble tea from the bubble tea man….50 cents (best thing after a hot day!
- Had such great Thai food…awesome pad Thai in Bangkok for 1USD and yummy rotee (sort of like a crepe with thin dough with stuff inside, my favorite is chocolate and banana)
- Had a vision for a country
- Fit 50 people standing in the aisle of a public bus, I’m sure the locals wanted us to hurry up and get off the bus
- Felt the Spirit moving so mightily
- Served with 19+ women…loved it! These women are so unique and beautiful on there own, but together God paints an awesome picture of the Body of Christ
- Been woken up in the middle of the night to pray for someone I didn’t know
- Ate a fried cricket…tasted kind of like burnt popcorn
- Saw God heal people! He is awesome!
- Had typhoid fever….isn’t that everyone’s life goal to have a tropical disease J
- Ridden a bike in sand (its kind of like steering a car in snow)
- Been to Angkor Wat…my favorite place was the temple with the trees growing over it
- Been to a Cambodian wedding with fruit parade, hair cutting ceremony and five bride and groom outfit changes
- Had so many smoothies – 50 cents at a little stand down the road from where we lived
- Volunteered in a hospital
- Had so much interesting and good fruit
- Been to a learning center for children with Down’s Syndrome…we had a birthday party for a little girl and had so much fun
- Felt so loved by a women whose house we painted…she took us to these Chinese restaurant and had us try all this great street food
- Been surrounded by such distinct cultures and languages in one place (Penang Island, Malaysia)…Malay, Chinese, Indian, Indonesian, Nepalese, Burmese
- Been so excited to take a shower with a shower head
- Been so hot…I loved Cambodia but I don’t believe there can be a place on this earth that’s hotter
Known I was going to miss my “W” squad and Team I-61 families so much!!! You guys are the best!!
