So, my teammate Melissa taught me the Never Have I Ever game.   You hold up ten fingers and say things you have never done before. If the other person has done the item mentioned, than they have to put one finger down. The person who has to put all their ten fingers down first loses the game. This game turned into me listing off to Melissa, as we sat on the floor of the cute, little apartment we are staying at in Shkodra, the things I have never done before until I came on the World Race. So for your reading pleasure here is the list of my Never Had I Ever: South America Edition.

Never Had I Ever:

—Ridden in the back of a truck going up a mountain with 17 people in it

—Eaten lunch out of a banana leaf (yummy by the way and it keeps your lunch warm if you are having a picnic by the river)

—Gotten a tattoo (my souvenir from Bolivia)

—Been so broken as I sat praying to God at 2am in the pastor’s office in Ecuador

—Tried cow’s stomach and seafood where I have had to rip the head off of it

—Had a to-go container that was a straw in a baggy.

          —Camped out on the beach

—Gone door to door visiting people and telling them about Jesus in Spanish

—Seen such poverty as when we were at the garbage dumps in Portoviejo

—Seen whales jumping out of the Pacific Ocean

—Been so heartbroken at the sight of a little girl with special needs in a dirty pink dress

—Felt the Holy Spirit moving in such a powerful way

—Had a dance party standing on a bed

          —Worked at an orphanage

          —Taken a bucket shower

—Flushed a toilet by dumping a bucket of water in it

—Watched Pocahontas  and Go, Diego, Go in Spanish with the children at the House of Dreams

—Been on a bus for 24 hours straight with no stopping except for 15 minutes to grab our bags and change buses (and one of those buses had no working bathroom)

—Thrown my toilet paper in the garbage can

          —Eaten so much rice

          —Been to a Quincinera

—Played “Pato, pato, pollo” or Duck, duck, chicken (we didn’t know the Spanish word for goose)

          —Felt so free to worship

—Stopped a bus while crossing a lane of traffic, holding a cake and bread, while fishing 1.50 Bolivianos out of my pocket

         — Hand washed my clothing

—Crashed a funeral (not really crashed, but our contact took us to a funeral, but didn’t tell us beforehand where we were going or what we were going to

          —Not showered in 4 days

          —Loved on orphans

—Sand boarded down a mountain of sand

          —Ran through a fountain

—Shared my testimony in a language that was not my own

—Been so challenged to press into the Lord, to step out in faith, to not settle for the same things

—Had to give and receive so much feedback – it really is good, even if at times you don’t think so

—Lived with 6 other people 24/7 (talk about learning how to love, to forgive, and to put your needs second)

I know there are more, but this is a good range of Never Have I Evers. Look for the Eastern Europe edition in a couple of months.
