Yesterday, Ginger and her team continued to make calls and speak with passersby as they waited at the US/Mexico border to begin the first leg of their race. They debated between all kinds of travel options, trying to make sure they picked the best one. For a while, they seemed torn between renting a car and taking a bus.
When someone suggested they ride bicycles (all the way to southern Mexico!), Ginger thought it sounded like fun, but agreed with her teammates that it was probably not the fastest way to reach their destination….
