Hello everyone, right now I am on my 7th month
of the World Race and spending it in Mukono, Uganda. This month my team and I
are spending our time reaching out to several different people in the area we
are living.

We have gone to a high school to teach and share the gospel
with students, we have prayed with widows, we have prayed for healing over the
sick and the dying in a nearby hospital, and we go out everyday meeting new
people, sharing the gospel, and speaking words of encouragement into their
lives.

Just yesterday we drove to a small village that is about
20km away from the Nile River to build relationships and minister to the
people.
In this village we were the first white people that had
ever come to visit, a majority of them had never even seen a white person
except on television or in a magazine. Walking around and talking to people
they were so excited and shocked that we had come half way around the world
just to share the gospel with them.

I never really realized until this moment how much of an
impact we are really making in these people’s lives. Here comes along a group
of 6 white people to a village out in the middle of nowhere just to share with
them the good news, and because we had come so far people were even more willing
to listen to what we had to say, rather than just listening to their own local
pastor. Some people begin to believe that Jesus must be real because he sent
this random group of people to see me right where I am.
All the places we have been to in Uganda so far there are
people that have been very impressed with the message that we have to share
with them. They say that they want to dedicate their lives to Christ and be
born again, but for some reason they are not willing to commit that very
moment. So we stay in contact and keep following up with people hoping that
they will change their minds, or we continue to pray for those that we are
unable to go back and see and hope that their minds may be changed or that
another person may come along, perhaps another World Racer someday, and help
this person walk into a new lifestyle where they are living for Christ.

I truly feel that many lives have been changed by God
through me and my teammates being on the World Race and traveling so far. I
know that God has many more people in mind that we are to meet in our last 4
countries and I am praying and hoping that I will be able to be a part of this.
In order to complete the World Race I need to raise $2,600
by March 13th if I am unable to raise the money I will be coming
home at the end of the month and will be missing out on reaching out to people
all over the world and seeing how God is using me and my team to change their
lives. I am praying that God will make all this possible
