Since leaving our
last contact to now things have gotten a lot better, we have officially moved
in with team Tabula Rasa and will be shacking up with them for the rest of the
month. Our days have been pretty slow,
but it’s been kind of nice to take it easy. Sunday Keri, Tiffany, Aimee, and
Cassie went to a different church, where Keri ended up preaching for 30
minutes, and me and Nikki followed the other team to their church.
Yesterday me, Keri,
and Tiffany went back to the same church and this time I had to step it up and
give a 30min sermon, thankfully I was prepared this time. I wasn’t nervous at
all and I was actually really excited to share, but I wasn’t that far into it
when I became very frustrated because the pastor that was translating for me
didn’t really seem to understand much English, so I had to repeat each sentence
about 10 times or one of the members of the church who actually understood
English would have to help him.
At least now I have
gotten this over with and next time I can walk to the front, filled with
confidence and ready to share a word from God.
