Here is an update from the field sorry i have been lacking on them as much as I would like. God has been using me in some powerful ways I have been able to this month live with a half american family in Maliwi and their passion for the ministry is so prevelent in their walk with the Lord. I am excited to be a apart of their ministry this month as we work with the street kids in Lilongwe. While all of them are not orphans they do come from troubled homes so much that the run away from home and chose to live on their own and face the world alone. Begging and asking for food and money and constantly having to resort to stealing for their food. God has shown me how desperate their situation is here and how I can show Christ's love with them. One big thing this month when it comes to ministry this month is that the people and kids we interact with on the street have bible knowledge but they chose only to use it when it might impress you as the witnesser. They will in the same way become an Musslim by litterally pulling a hat out of their back pocket. They play whatever part will get the most simpithy and or money from you. What a sad way to live!

This month we have been focusing on three different groups of these kids. First the kids that are in prison these kids know the least english and are the hardest to comunicate with we visit and teach through a translater every friday afternoon. The second group of kids that we spend the most time with Tesday, Thursday, and Saturday with is the kids that are walking the street we play games with and we are teaching them three stories from Daniel through Drama. Fiinally the last group we have been focusing on is a small group of about 7 kids who our contacts have been able to pull off the street and live in a home that is surrounded by a lot of christian influences. My new team and I have throughly enjoyed being apart of these kids lives and playing with them twice a week.

Please be in prayer for our contacts Albert and Brandie she is from the states and he is a Malawian they leave for the US with their Daughter Tatonda in May so she can have her second child in the states but when they leave and are not in the ministry everyday the kids from the home start leaving and the kids on the street begin to take backwards steps in their knowledge of the Word. Luckly they have begun getting other people in their church to partner with them so pray that the kids will still being taught and loved while they are away!

Also please pray for my new team we are getting along great and love each other. Please pray that we continue in that and seek the Lord in all of our personal walks.

I will be in Malawi for one more week and then we set off for Joannasberg(Misspelled), South Africa (36 hour bus ride) and eventually Swaziland after a day or two of rest. Please pray for Safety!
