I am a strong Pro-life activists who want to see God's work in his creation by activally particpating in it with everyday of this life that He gave me. I hope by sharing my story below you are called to make this same statement.

I grew up in the town of Moore, Oklahoma where I became a die hard Oklahoma Sooner fan! It didn't help in the fact that my dad took me to every Oklahoma basketball home game from the time I was six until we moved to Little Rock when I was fifteen. I accepted Christ at the age of six, I felt the LORD convicting me of my sins and spoke to my pastor at that time accepted Christ and was baptized. But I truly believe at the time my faith was not my own.

My first trial that I really faced in my life that I really remember is when I went through a Tornado in May of 2003 I was at home with my aunt at the time (my parents were in Florida for Campus Crusade for Christ training) I have four siblings and my cousin so there were seven of us in all staying at our house near the end of my parents training. When  we were sitting down to dinner that night my aunt turned on the TV to check on the weather as she turned it on we heard the sirens go off. At that time where we were living in Moore this town was referred to as tornado alley so their was nothing new about hearing the sirens in the spring time. My siblings and I knew what to do we led our aunt and cousin straight to our next door neighbors house and went into their storm shelter that they had built after the close call with the EF6 tornado a year earlier.

This event is the earliest I remember seeing God work in my life. As we took shelter in screams and panics of our neighbors hoping everyone who was not able to make it to the shelter were ok and would make it through the storm. The only thing I remember is the destruction that I saw when I came out of the shelter and I was able to see God work through the recovery of the storm as we found our way back to my aunts house in Norman only twenty minutes away in a five passenger car that my uncle drove to pick us up in. Inside the car we had a dog eight people and a fish.

The next major mile marker in my life was when I was able to take a trip to Mexico in 2007 I spent 10 days there and was able to get out of my comfort zone of not only my house but also begin to see changes in my personality as I was a very introverted person and became a much more of an outgoing person thanks to the LORD's work in my life. I was then able to continue my mission experience through a trip to Ukraine in 2008 my senior year of high school again I saw the work that the LORD did in my life as he continued to grow me with a heart for his people and ability to work to grow His kingdom.

I wanted to share these mile markers in my life in order to allow you to understand where I am coming from when I say that I have dealt with hard times and have seen God's work through that and the same with the good times I have been blessed with the opportunity to see His people in other third world countries and use sweat and blood to build His kingdom.

Thanks for letting me share my story
