The whole month while we were in Thailand, my team of 7 people along with team Blue Sky worked with Mark and Sharon Biddell who started SHE Ministries. This is an organization focused on providing jobs for women who have worked in prostitution in order to bring them out of that life into a life with Jesus. They cook and make beautiful jewelry and they live and work at SHE (Self Help and Empowerment). Every other day we rotated between prayer walks in the day followed by ministering with the girls in Patong at night, with doing manual labor on the property of the future SHE buildings the other days. On the afternoons that we worked at the land we would go out back and have songs and games with the neighborhood children! Hard work emotionally, spiritually and physically, but God taught me a lot about my own insecurities and how to get over myself in order to help others. I think it was tough being able to learn to love the girls and the men who use them, but it is a process.
