Have you ever been through a time in your life where you feel like God is so far away from you, but you still trust that He’s close. I cannot understand it. How can God be surrounding me, guarding my heart, loving me, calling me for so much, yet I feel like He is millions of miles away? I think that maybe it is simply my lack of faith and ability to feel Him. In my heart I know that God has so much planned for me and He wants for my best (even if that means that I must go through a rough time). Why do I have to be broken hearted and have difficulties in my life? Because I know myself and if I never had to go through anything, I would take for granted WHO God really is. 
     
                                                    At this point in my life, God is to me:
My Love. God is my comfort. God is mercy. God is good. God is power. God is hope. God is my boyfriend. God is my family. God protects me. God sustains me. God is my happiness. He is just. He is trustworthy. He is my future. He pushes me to bigger and better things. God puts His love in me. He is my patience. God is my self-control. God is honorable. God is my excitement. God is holy. God is worth my time. God convicts. God supplies. God is my pride and joy and I am His. God is my strength. God is my portion. God is pure. God is praiseworthy. God is Awesome!
 

         “Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalm 73:25-26

   So what I have learned from the past few months of my life is that no matter what you go through, GOD IS HOLDING YOU through it all. The peace that God gives me is beyond my understanding and I will praise Him for it! God forgave me when He sent his Son to be a sacrifice for me, therefore I will forgive others, and I will forgive myself 🙂 God is GOOD!!

 

         4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all.
