The ring is ready, the ropes suspended, and the crowd waits with eager anticipation. A spot light shines to the center of the arena. The roaring crowd grows silent.
It’s a time-honored tradition, and now it’s YOUR TURN to step into the ring! Bust out your face paint and get pumped as you combat other September squads in battles that include both NEWand CLASSIC challenges!
Introducing… (cue drum roll)… SQUAD WARS!!!
SEPTEMBER 2014 Squads take the stage for a Battle Royale, a blitzkrieg, a crusade of valiant warriors. After the dust settles, who will be left standing?
(If the Eye of the Tiger isn’t playing in your head yet, it should be.)
Here’s how it works: There will be 7 squads launching in SEPTEMBER 2014. There will be 4 World Race squads and 2 World Race Gap Year squads. For the most part, you have been known as Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and Gap Year, but from now on, you will now be known by your squad letters:
September Route 1 = H Squad
September Route 2 = I Squad
September Route 3 = J Squad
September Route 4 = K Squad
September Route 5 = L Squad
Gap Year Route 1 = Gap A Squad
Gap Year Route 2 = Gap B Squad
Points will be awarded for various Squad Wars challenges beginning now through training camp. The squad with the most points at the end of Squad Wars WINS!
Squad Wars is officially under way so without further ado….
ROUND ONE: VIDEO CHALLENGE!
Objective: Be the squad to have the highest percentage of people post or e-mail* in a personal introduction video.
*If you e-mail your video, your Mobilizer will post it to Facebook for you.
The Rules:
Video MUST be 11 seconds or less.
Your face must appear in the video.
Only one video per person will count.
Videos can only feature one racer (so no teaming up).
Fit as much as you want into the video but it must include your name, age, and hometown.
Video must be submitted by Friday, May 16th.

Points will be awarded to squads accordingly:
1st place = 500 points
2nd place = 250 points
3rd place = 100 points
4th place = 50 points
BONUS: The one person with the most creative video will earn their Squad an extra 50 POINTS.
