My family moved to St. Louis, Missouri from a small city in Kazakhstan when I was 10 years old. My parents moved my two older sisters and I to USA for more opportunity and better way of life. I’m so grateful and blessed to be here and call this country my home for 20 years now. I speak Russian and English.

I have an Associates degree in Accounting and for the past 10 years I worked for international adoption agency and specialty pharmacy doing bookkeeping.

About couple years ago, God placed a calling on my heart for a long-term mission trip overseas. At the time, I did not know where or how and with no experience in this field, this idea seemed unreachable and overwhelming.

A year ago, I quit my job and took a leap of faith and moved to Maui, Hawaii for a few months in order to seek after Christ and focus on my relationship with him and figure out what to do with my life. There I met incredible people with beautiful hears for Jesus. God worked wonders in my life and opened up doors to new opportunities for me. I made solid Christian friends and learned about the World Race.

Shortly after coming back home to St. Louis, I went to California to visit my best friend whom I met in Maui. She took me to Tijuana, Mexico on my first mission trip. It was an eye opening experience for me. I have never witnessed so much poverty and brokenness before. It was a learning experience and a taste of what to come on the World Race.

In the last year, everything has been coming together and God has been preparing me for this upcoming journey. God is good! I am excited and nervous at the same time. This will definitely be an adventure of a lifetime. It will teach me, test me, and stretch me beyond anything I’ve ever experienced or done before! With God’s grace and Holy Spirit’s strength I will persevere.

I have a passion for traveling and learning about new cultures. I’m very adventurous, outdoorsy and love to try new things. But when it comes to meeting new people, I tend to be on the shy side. Just be patient with me and I will open up in no time 🙂
