$3400 in 2 Weeks
IMPOSSIBLE
…or is it?…
You know what is amazing?? That even in the midst of circumstances that seem impossible, we serve a God of the impossible.
I have to remind myself to think of all the incredible things that could happen over this next year if I just dare to believe. Dare to believe that what seems impossible in my eyes is completely possible through my Father who has already claimed the victory. Victory over health. Victory over finances. Over everything.
So even though raising $3400 in about two weeks without a job seems impossible, I’m trusting for provision above and beyond. In all honesty, it has been a hard, through fears and doubts…fighting to stand strong in the knowledge that God will provide. God is still growing me-in trust and in faith. I just need to constantly remind myself of who He is, that He has called me to this journey. I know that He can provide in crazy ways and that He often loves to provide through all the amazing people He has surrounded me with in community—all those that he has purposefully placed in my life.
So how can you help?
1) First PRAY!!! This 11 month mission trip and although exciting, isn’t going to be easy. I need to be covered in prayer before I leave, through all the crazy preparations and the goodbyes, and while I am in the field and in ministry. Please be praying for the people that are going to be walking beside me on my team and on my squad and that we would be protected and grow together as a family. Pray for strength. Pray for faith in provision. Pray for Peace. Please also be praying for those who we will be ministering to throughout this next year, that the Lord will be preparing their hearts to receive His Gospel of Grace and His amazing Love.
2) Second, you can help SPREAD THE WORD. This is huge!! But really. My network of people is only so big and can only go so far, but with your help I can get so much more help on this journey I am about to go on! Please share this blog on Facebook and other types of media, tell your friends and family about it, or even ask people you know to help support me on this 11 month mission trip.
3) Third, you can GIVE A ONE TIME GIFT. It doesn’t matter how big or how small the donations are, EVERY donation counts and helps me reach my goal! Now you may be wondering what my goal is?? Well here are my deadlines (one of which is rapidly approaching).

$16,285-January 1, 2015
Currently I have $4128. I need $7500 in order to be able to board a plane with my squad and begin my journey.
4) Fourth, you can GIVE MONTHLY! If you’ve ever thought about giving to something monthly, here is an oppurtunity. The amount doesn’t matter because, once again, every little bit helps.
The amount of money that I have to raise is truly impossible to conjure up on my own. This opportunity of doing an 11-month mission trip has me really excited and nervous and everything in between, but without your help I can’t go! Would you please consider partnering with me?
