Lately I’ve begun to really cherish the beauty of early mornings.
I’ve had more night-owl like tendencies especially being in college with a busy schedule. Let’s just say that I’m all too familiar with all-nighters or almost-all-nighters…more so than I’d like to be.

But as I’ve been able to take this long break, I’ve found that I enjoy mornings more and more.
There’s just something about the beautiful and peaceful silence that comes with the beginning of a new day.
A fresh start.
A new beginning.

There’s nothing better than sitting quietly in the morning, before the business of the day selfishly demands all my attention, having coffee with Jesus and reflecting on all the things I am thankful for.

Its our time. Nothing can change that.

And in my time with Him , I’m learning to

STOP

THE GLORIFICATION

OF

BUSY

To just rest. Be still. Be quiet. Be thankful.

Just BE.

Some days where I do nothing but rest in His presence. But dwell on the good things and be reminded of all I have to be thankful for.

//

So this morning I am thankful for

roommate reunions//coffee//fog outside//chilly weather//fresh laundry//bagels//raw unedited worship music//new beginnings

And tomorrow is another new beginning…well a beginning of an ending. I start my LAST semester of undergrad here at UGA. I can’t believe that this season of my life is almost over *tears*. But I’m excited for all the new beginnings yet to come *happy tears*

I have found my home in you
The one that I was made for
I have found my home inside your love

I’m overwhelmed with thanfulness
The joy I’m living to express
In your open arms my heart is dancing

You my one and only
You came and overwhelmed me
Love so pure and holy, love

With me you never have to hide
Because I’m always by your side
For you I live my life to give
This gift of love is ours to live
