I’m back.

It is sort of surreal to be back in Antigua.  Three months ago I left this house uncertain on the timing of my return and where in the world my financial supporters would come from.

I sit here in the living room and can imagine all the memories in the house as if they were still occurring.  I can still see people who are no longer members in the house doing their daily routines.  I can see the old season.

Upon coming the Lord gave me 2 words specific to this new season back at the house.

  1. He is going to reclaim my heart.

The Father is reminding me that he is in control.  That He is the game changer.  That, truly, He is for me and nothing can stand against me.

His love is wiping the fears my heart has carried.

He wants my all of my heart, and it’s a beautiful thing.

  1. This season is NEW!

While things look similar, they are vastly different.  I am committed to this base for 2 years.  There is a sense of ownership of the things we do that is unlike the past.

The housemates that I’ve returned through are not in the same places spiritually from when I left.  I, too, am different.  We are getting to know our new selves.

There are new things that Lord wants me to walk in.  I’m sold out to the Father.

These first few days home are filled with rest and acclamation. Starting next week I should be diving into ministry.

For now, I get the chance to reconnect with the Lord and with the house.

Also, since I have come on staff with Adventures in Missions, I have been given a new blog site.  It is gabesanchez.myadventures.org

This will be my final blog post on my world race account.

If you are subscribed to this blog I will personally transfer you over.

If you have any words of encouragement or any words that the Lord is impressing on your heart as to what this next season looks like for me here in Guatemala, please comment on this blog.
