Many workplaces have developed their own lingo that incomprehensible to those outside of that environment.

The World Race is no different. There are words and phrases used here that would never be said back home.
Here are a few favorites. (Word, the world's meaning, what racer's mean)
1. Love well. Possibly the title of a chick flick. To properly show love to a fellow racer or person.
2. Walking in newness. Parading around town in a fresh outfit. Learning to do something for the first time.
3. Stepping into greatness. Thoughts of a person in the cardio section of the local gym. Actively pursuing habits for improvement.
4. What does that even look like. Being thoroughly confused by the messages being sent from optic nerve to brain. State of paralysis as new information is being processed.
5. Papa. A popular pizza joint, Biggie Smallz, or in spanish, the pope. God the Father.
6. Thanks. When someone says something great about you. When a racer tells you something true that you dont want to hear.
7. I receive that. Commonly said when a package is delivered to your place of residence. When a word is given and it sits well in your soul.
8. That's broken. When your household appliance is not working correctly. An unhealthy, or sinful perspective on oneself or the world. (i.e. The movie Friends with Benefits is so broken.)
9. In process. Waiting for a new song to download. State everyone is in as they progress to becoming the person God intends.
10. You need to declare that. Being truthful with the IRS. The act of shouting a truth into your life, possibly standing on a chair.
11. Travel day. A 3-5 hour road trip or flight. A 129-hour "day" including 5 buses, 2 trains, 3 planes, 5 countries, and 4 languages.
