Hey folks!
I haven’t blogged in a while so here come a few.
First things first, I am in Nicaragua serving with a ministry called Mateo 5:16 ministries. The vision is to take in children that are abused at home and provide a living space with a culture teaching about Jesus. On our property there are about 10 people living, ranging from ages 10-19. These people are filled with love but scarred with the pains of the world.
We are staying in a sketchy part of Nicaragua called Diriamba. There is some crazy spiritual warfare going on here. For the 1st week, all of us were constantly tired, fearful of going out to the streets where gangs are active and violent, and a cloud of negativity over the property. After an evening of worship, we casted all the evil spirits in this place back to hell! Since then we have been re-energized, hit the streets regularly with evangelism and prayer, and live in constant joy on property.
This month we are clearing out a soccer field, heading into town to pray for people, and running church services on Sundays. Ten days left and we are all real excited to finish strong!
