– When entering your tent or hammock at any period of time – thoroughly shake off the army of ants and other bugs that have decided to make your space their new home.

– Before entering your hammock, shake and check for snakes.

– When entering your tent, do it fast. As fast as you can, and close the zipper immediately behind you. Otherwise, bugs will follow you in.

- If you set anything down, anywhere, for any period of time… Shake it off when you pick it up, and watch it to make sure ants don’t carry it off.

- When weeding in the garden, if you feel like something is crawling on you, or in your pants.. It is. Get up, and shake it off.

- When you sweep the floor, the pile will crawl away. Sweep fast.

– When walking at night, if you feel something warm and squishy under your foot. Don’t press down, it’s a toad.

- When showering, check for ticks, everywhere. There is a high probability there is a tick on your body, search thoroughly.

- When going to the bathroom, watch your feet. Bugs will crawl up your legs if not careful… Or onto your back…

– Don’t leave food unattended, anywhere. Within seconds, it will be infested with bugs. Don’t set it down, eat it while you have it.

– If you don’t shut the shades in the pavilion before turning on the lights for dinner. Prepare to play kill the flying moth roaches (termites the size of tootsie rolls that fly!) for at least thirty minutes.
