After a very long travel day(s), I am so excited to announce that I safely made it to my first ministry site! I will be working in Novi Sad, Serbia for this first month of my journey. My team and I will be working with the church Novi Sad Christian Fellowship who has the ministry Fokus, which is a youth rehabilitation program – helping youth through heroin addiction. This month we will also be teaching conversational English, working with women through art therapy, and evangelizing to the local youth. My ministry host is Dusan (Bera) and his wife Meriam (Mera), he will be in charge of the programs we teach, and the ministry work we do in the country this year. We are staying at the church, so I won’t have to use my tent this month!

I am so excited to do life with these five amazing, godly, and fun women these next months. I am so grateful that God perfectly orchestrated my team and how well we fit together already. I have absolutely loved the funny moments, and open communication we have shared already.
It is crazy to see how much God has already used the World Race to grow me spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. From the very first day God told me that I was going on the race, to the application process, training, and the people – I’ve already learned so much about myself, God, and have felt the growth!
I’ve SEEN God so much in the lives of my squad, my team, Adventures in Missions, and in the preparation for this trip. He has continually blessed me, and shown up for me. He has given me tiny presents and blessings during this process already, that reinforce His voice and direction in my life.
Thank you to everyone who has been praying for me, and who has supported me! I am doing this thing you guys! I am 70% raised (only $4204 left to raise!) – and I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for YOU and for Him.
