So the other day Adventures in Missions posted a video about my story. I can’t even explain how honored and humbled I’ve been by this whole project. It’s seriously been an amazing experience from the very beginning.
But I am here to tell you that it’s not about me!!!
I mean, I’m not saying that the video isn’t about me…that really is my story. That’s not what I’m talking about…
I just want you to know that it’s not just my story. It’s the story of all of us. We’ve all found ourselves at points in our lives where we have our faces in the dirt. That place where you hit the bottom and the bottom hits you back even harder. Sometimes we choose to sit there and take it. “I got myself here, so I’m gonna sit in it” and there we sit. With our face rolling around in the mud because that’s what we deserve, and after all, everyone gets what they deserve.
If we could just manage to look up, we would see that our dad is there watching us, begging us to get up and come home. We don’t get what we deserve. He got what we deserve. And what He gives us for free, we could never ever deserve, buy, or earn in anyway. And that’s a second chance.

I thank God everyday for what He’s done for me, and how far He’s brought me, but you know what? IT’S NOT ABOUT ME!!! It’s about HIM!!! And how stinking GOOD He is to us!
