I’m an artist. I’ve loved drawing since as far back as I can remember. There’s just something about art that has always hit home for me. I was (and in many ways still am) a hyperactive kid. I could climb before I could walk. I was always running around and my mind never stopped going a million miles an hour. But put a piece of paper and a pencil in front of me, and I could spend hours just sitting there not saying a word. Art calms me down. It quiets all the noise in my head, and makes me free to use my imagination to create anything I want, and to express myself in any way I want to.

I grew up idolizing guys like Banksy, and Sheppard Fairey. The art that they did was not only amazing, but it had a message, it had a purpose, it stood for something! They used their art to tell people about what they saw was messed up in the world. Their art was impactful, and made people think. It made people dream of the possibility of making the world a better way.

I was 14 when i knew for sure that I wanted to be a graphic designer. Because of guys like Banksy and Sheppard Fairey, and organizations like To Write Love On Her Arms, I could see the power that design could have. I wanted to learn to use it to inspire people, make people think, and hopefully, maybe, change the world! I believe that art can make a difference in this world. And maybe a single T-shirt can’t save the world, but I know that an idea can. And if we all wear messages and ideas that can change the world on our chest, little by little, shirt by shirt, we can start to change this world, and make it a better place.

So in an effort to help my fundraising efforts (and maybe even change the world) I’ve been creating some T-shirt graphics, and I’m hoping to have them for sale sometime in the very near future. So tell me what you think, and if you’d be interested in helping me out by buying one of these shirts!

If you’d be interested in getting one of these graphics on a shirt, shoot me an email at [email protected]! Thanks!
