“My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”
-John 10:27-30
How appropriate that while spending time with Jesus this morning, this is the passage I would come across. Not even 1 full week into this journey, and God has reminded me over and over again that I am His. Right where He wants me to be, in a certain place and phase in life, with a specific purpose. What a joy to know that I am known and held by the Creator of the Universe!
Friends, this is not to say that this journey will not be fraught with frustration. Anxiety and fears. Preparing for a journey like this is taxing. It’s HARD. But I was reminded yesterday during my first fundraising event that the Lord is good, He is sweet, and He is sovereign. I asked the Lord for 5% funding in one day. Big request! Huge step of faith. And how did God respond? With exactly 5% funding. Down to the dollar…and the last dollar was paid in QUARTERS!! I am so encouraged by how many people have already jumped on board this process with me. And I’m beyond thankful.
So this morning I encourage you to know and remember these incredible truths:
You are known.
You are loved.
You are held.
You are cherished.
Believe it, live in it. Walk in it. Even when it doesn’t seem to be true. Even when everything around you screams the opposite. When the world is seemingly falling apart at the seams, remember this:
“…no one will snatch them out of My hand.”
