Honestly, I don’t need anything, and my pack is full. Christmas cards or notes or emails would be wonderful if you want to send anything! It’s my first Christmas away from my parents, so any encouragement will be very welcomed 🙂 Also please be lifting up my family in your prayers for their joy during this time.
So as you guessed, we made it to our next country! We’re in the city that allows me to
access this website. So you will read a few “catch-up” blogs (See
Vietnam, Race Winnings BBQ, and Khmer Province blogs) on what’s been
going on lately. Hopefully that will tide you over until around
Christmas time or so when I have access to internet again. Thanks again
for your constant prayers and love and encouragement!
On Sunday, we leave this area and
head into a closed part of East Asia. Please pray for our traveling, as
it has already been a hassle these last several days and our upcoming
travel will be very lengthy, multiple days in fact. Also, please pray
for God to be glorified in all our words, actions, thoughts, etc. It is
the half-way point for our June squad. Officially November 12 was the
halfway marker. I feel the devil was trying to distract us with
transportation bumps, health (minor) issues, selfishness &
team-focused rather than God-focused, annoyance & frustration
instead of extending grace, etc. We have been seeking God and His face,
hungering for Him. This week we’ve been fasting and praying as a squad,
each team taking turn for fasting. So thank you for praying against any
strongholds, against the enemy’s schemes, and for God to be in control
of our thoughts and actions, the circumstances and our responses to
them. Also please pray a blanket of protection over our friends in East
Asia. And Thank God with me for this freshness and growth in the Lord throughout our squad. Please pray that this joy of the Lord continues.
