Luke 3:23
Jesus ministry began after the baptism. Acts 10:37-38 “You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached— 38how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him”.
After the baptism Jesus travelled far, preaching, healing, basically doing the works of him who sent him. Jesus travelled this map by foot; not by bus, plane, bike, etc… He travelled by foot to proclaim the good news. Just after Jesus was baptised he was tempted by Satan(Luke 4) to prevent him from fulfilling what was prophesied by the early prophets.
We have been called to travel just as Jesus did. Lucky for us we wont travel by foot haha. Anyways just as Jesus was tempted before his ministry, so will we. In the next 9 months(38 weeks left) are going to be a tough ride but lets follow the example of Christ. Acts 10:38 says “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him”. Lets keep in mind that God is with us. Stand firm in the presence of God. Be blessed.
