Ecclesiastes 3 teaches that everything happens in its own season. I love this book very much, it has to be one of my favorite book in the bible. When I cry, when I struggle, when I’m overwhelmed, basically whatever happens, I know where to look. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says “He has made everything beautiful in its time…” So even when I’m at my worst and feel like giving everything up, I just look up this verse and realize that its apart of he’s beautiful plan.
I’m so excited beyond measures but some times its overwhelming. Just the idea of knowing that I will be heading into the world for 11 months in 11 countries is scary. Its hard to handle, its tough to endure but Ecclesiastes 3 tells me that these things will happened. Its just a part of he’s beautiful plan. But then the enemy tries to use those moments to destroy us. He pushes thoughts like this: They isn’t a place for us in the world, we don’t belong, we don’t deserve to be serving, we don’t deserve a second chance etc… I can tell you right now those thoughts, are not from God.
When you feel like you can’t take it anymore; just remember the moment God called you. It was exciting and that was God’s intention. Our reaction when he called us, that exciting moment, that jumping moment was God’s intention and he’s intention never changes. While we are preparing for our trip and even when we are there; lets keep that exciting moment, lets keep in mind that God called us to do he’s works.
