My name is Ernest Dushime and I am 20 years old. I am Canadian but originally from Burundi, Africa. I moved from Burundi in 2003 and I have traveled miles and miles from home. I currently live in Calgary, Alberta. I am an easy going person and I like talking to people. Talking to people and making friends has been one of my strength. I am a child 12 of 14 siblings, same mom and sad dad. In all 14 children they is only 8 of us left and 7 of resides in Canada and the 1 in Belgium. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and savior in 2009 but I’ve grown attending church regularly because my family were religious. But i didn’t come to know how much he loved me in 2009. Since I was young people used to say, I should be a pastor but I ignored it because pastoring was not any where in my mind. Until last year 2013, I was convinced that God always wanted me to be a pastor. I was running away from my calling for years, I was like Jonah but thank God I wasn’t swallowed by a fish haha. The word of GOd is so amazing, teaching it, learning it, sharing it gives me a purpose in life. I am hungry to serve the Lord and keep walking with God. We are all disciples of Christ and we are called to do great things. You know I should be afraid of this trip because its 11 months on the road but I am not. I’m filled with the excitement and people who will be saved. Our lives will never be the same ever ever again. This is the work of the father and he’s pleased with the amount of faith that we are taking and preach to the Nations. Its just exciting.
