Am I the last person on the planet to ever see the Lifehouse, Everything skit?
The ministry we are working with this month is wanting my squad to plan the biggest event The World Race has ever done. Meaning, we are planning an event for a university to share the Gospel to over 9,000 kids. Thank goodness we have planners on our squad that are absolutely killing it.
Day one of the event went great. We played games, had man talks, girls talks, discussed creative worship, planned sermons, and did skits. The Lifehouse Everything skit brought down the house.
As my team and I were planning this out who was going to play what part, I was the only one who hadn’t seen it. So, casually, they decided to perform it for me. It was about 8pm, we were tired, and to be completely honest I was cranky and just wanted to go to sleep. But I put on a good face for the sake of the team and participated. Never in a million years did I think this was going to change my perspective on Christianity or give me a visual of what Jesus actually does for our lives. I, being such a visual learner, have been praying for God to show his love for me in tangible ways. Well, that night He answered that prayer. And it wrecked me. So many tears. It was amazing.
The day this was performed to the students of STI University, this skit brought down the house. Walls were broken and tears were flowing. It’s powerful. I cry every time I watch it now.
Take a look at this skit to get the full effect.
I’m only $2,400 away from being FULLY FUNDED! Help me get there and continue on this journey! Every penny counts!
