Hi Sweet Friends,

Training camp is officially behind me and oh my was it an experience. So amazing, yet so hard. Never did I think the words “I can’t wait to sleep in my own tent” would ever come out of my mouth. I also never would have thought I would be so excited to take a bucket shower (yep, bucket shower) with ice cold water. God’s gifts to His children 🙂

The past 10 days have been filled with worship, prayer, community, discomfort, growth, and constant movement from the Lord. All that said, we also received information regarding our route. Yay for changes! Below is the new order:

Cambodia

Thailand

Malaysia

Philippines

Zimbabwe

Zambia

Malawi

Ukraine

Romania

Albania

You’ll notice that there are only 10 of the 11 countries listed. We will be going to 11 countries, but plot twist! We don’t know where the 11th country will be just yet. Our original location was Greece but do to needs of the country and cost we will no longer be traveling there. The 11th country is being prayerfully considered, but no decision has been made yet. Although as a squad we are sad not to be going to Greece (for obvious reasons) but we know God has something bigger and better in store and it’s going to be so good!

Back to training camp logistics, I have been placed on an amazing team with 5 other Jesus-loving humans. (A team is a smaller break down of the squad. While we will all be traveling to each country together, within each country we will be working with our team for different mission projects.  At some points, we may all be very near each other.  Other months we may be more spread out.)

I arrived at training camp with 37 strangers and left with 37 new family members. It’s crazy to think that in just ten days we grew so incredibly close. I can’t even imagine the closeness we’ll have after eleven months! I’m excited to experience community in wholeness.
