This past Friday we headed out to a "Raft Party". It is basically a night club for students under 20 that is only open on Friday night. The guy Ivan who we met fishing helps organize and promote the night. He had texted asking if we would come so we Staci, Michael and I headed out at 11pm to check out the "Raft Party"
It was actually located in a building that sits on the river that runs through the center of Uzice and there were around 300 people there. We got to sit in the VIP section as we were the personal guests of Ivan who is evidently a pretty big deal. It was very cool as we met Ivan's friends and Fililp showed up with his girlfriend (Vanya). Staci was able to connect really well with Vanya and have a very cool conversation while Michael and I had a number of cool conversations with Filip, Ivan and their friends. We are planning on hanging out again at a more decent hour. The funny part about the night as the party officially ended at 2am and so because it is what people in Serbia do, we went and picked up Komplet Lepinja at 2:30am. Somehow it tasted better at 2:30am than it ever has during the day. We joke about the things we do for the sake of ministry. I guess eating Komplet Lepinja is becoming one of those things.
