Thursday night’s concert was a great success!  Not only did I have the chance to perform with six very talented musicians AND share the evening with friends and family AND tell people about my mission trip, but the event brought in just over $1,200!  Not all of this money will go directly toward my AIM goal (that’s Adventures in Missions), but all will go toward the Race.  Some people chose to sponsor some out-of-pocket expenses I will (or have!) already had, but all is helping me reach my goal.

Many thanks to those who gave of their time, talents, and resources!

Last week, I sent off for an airplane-friendly harp case. Did I mention that I bought a harp?
My new harp! Have harp, will travel.
Earlier this week, I had the chance to perform at Emerald Baptist Church in Greenwood and at the Greer Business Luncheon at Greer First Baptist.  I was able to play and share my testimony about my calling to the Race.  Both events were such a blessing!
In other news, it’s official:
January 2, 2011
6PM
Departure for The World Race!!

Nothing makes it more real than that! 🙂

Below is the fundraising video I shared at the concert.  Check it out!  The first video showed at the concert can be found on my blog’s Home Page if you’re interested.
