Travel Days…aaah travel days. Honduras, to El Salvador, and on to Honduras…and just MONTH 2!!!We've been in Honduras almost 2 weeks now.  Life is wild but it is good.  There are moments of utter boredom and other moments that are sheer awe of the splendor of our King Jesus.

My team spent the week with a ministry that works with women and children who are a result of rape or incest but not defined by this act.  They are becoming new creations in Christ and it’s quite beautiful to watch.  We had two different nights where families came to seek refuge at the ministry for various reasons.  Imagine coming to a place in the dark where you don’t know anyone with only the shirt off your back?  Life is every changing as people come and go, there are power outages, you never know what to expect…it’s kind of exciting living life that way.

This upcoming week we will be working at Zion’s Gate Ministry (our main contact location) working on the property painting/beatifying a path and digging a water line.  We will have the opportunity to visit with families in La Kennedy which is essentially a community who lives at the garbage dump.  The following week we will have some opportunities to visit a local hospital to encourage and pray for patients.

A few illnesses going around but we’re mostly in good spirits.  Would appreciate prayers for those struggling with homesickness and hearing tough news from home when we can’t be there.
