So recently I was chatting with some former Squadmates. I was encouraged and discouraged at the same time how our stories overlapped in so many ways. The common “truth” I noticed was how easily we were beat-up by the same lies…Recycled lies given a personal twist to hit us where it counts…and I have to wonder… what if at a young age…really young… someone sat us down…or we sat our hypothetical children down some day and said hey…look out for these…because THIS yuck DOES NOT define you or give you worth as a human being….these are some reallllly typical ways we get trapped…and when someone is having a stinky day…would it make their day more livable, breathable, bearable if someone reminded them that they are very Loved by a Heavenly King…a King who can be a great comfort and escape when they are knee-deep in these Recycled Lies?
