It’s true what they say, God moves more in third world countries. Not because he is a different God than the one we worship in America or because he cant move in America, but because we don’t allow him to. Pastor Sebastian’s church in San Juan Honduras does not have that problem. The people come to services every Sunday and Wednesday expecting God to bring healing, and peace, as well as expecting for him to transform their lives.
Our team has been given the amazing privilege to serve alongside of them this month. We will be spending the majority of our time in the community ministering to the locals and showing them Christ’s love. In addition to evangelizing, we are helping Pastor Sebastian complete a new building for his congregation to worship in on Wednesdays and Sunday. The base of the building is done. There are walls and a roof, but no floors, plaster and paint on the walls, windows, doors, or electricity.Pastor Sebastian has been working on this building for the past three years and has been paying for everything out of his own pocket.

In order to completely finish the church, Pastor needs 2,500 hundred dollars. He has the people to help build it and he has the people to fill it on the weekends, now he just needs the money to make it happen. We’re asking you, our friends and family, to help us make this happen. If we could raise this money in a week, there is a large possibility that this church could be finished by the time we left!
Not only would you be blessing this amazing family and church, but you would also be helping their ministry expand. Pastor Sebastian has a heart for the nations and missionaries. His dream for his church is to house missionaries from all over the world to help make changes in the city of San Juan. He has dreams of medical teams coming to hold clinics, construction teams to build houses, pastoral teams to lead crusades, and so many more. But in order to have teams come and serve, they need a place to stay. By building this new church building, it would freeup their older church building, in which they have outgrown, to be used for missionary housing. The impact that this could have is unlimited.
