Month 8 is now at a close and our last debrief before our final debrief finished yesterday!  This month has flown by.  It’s been a month of adventure, meeting amazing people and building relationships, listening to stories and growing in perseverance and trust in God’s plans and timing.  We had the opportunity to hang out with two teams for the first two weeks to help them build a church, which included mixing mud with our feet for the walls!  We also had the opportunity to feed 220 street kids and love on them in Eldoret.  It was an amazing experience.  Here is just a small snippet in pictures of what this month has been like!

Our house for the month!
We took a walk for a women’s bible study and this was the breathtaking view!

Some of the neighbors!  The house to the right had many kids around it that LOVED to give us high fives and hugs.

From the left to the right:  Pastor Patrick, who has one of the biggest hearts for his church and street kids, and the three women who helped us during the month.  They were amazing!
Mama Emmy!
She was a blessing and always took care of
us like we were her own children!

Abu, one of the children at the church.
He had a twin brother and I fell head over heels for them!
(The church we were building is behind us!)
The kids that hung around the church we were building.

Carolyn, helping cook the food for the street kids that we fed.  To the right, the women being treated with pedicures and facials!  We had a spa day to bless them!
Cute Abu listening to music.

A blog to come soon about month 8 debrief and what the Lord has been teaching me and stretching me in soon!
