Two days of travel,
three countries and four airports later- welcome to Guatemala!!!
We spent the first two
days resting, eating veggie sandwiches, learning about money and various
currencies and now, we have our assignments for the month!!
On Wednesday my team
and I are packing up our stuff and headed…. to San Salvador!!! Where we
will be working with Team Challenge, an international teen rehab, and we
are incredibly excited about it!
The World Race is all
about the unexpected and I have definitely experienced a little of that so far…
broken ipod, broken and then fixed kindle, liquid benadryl exploding in my
pack, girl behind me puking on the plane and now instead of spending the month
in Guatemala we’re heading over to a brand new country- and I couldn’t be
happier. I’m really excited to go to a new place, to be working with teens,
especially in this kind of environment, and I can’t wait to see what God is
going to show and teach me through all of this.
