For those who are interested in getting an inside look to what ministry may look like from a scheduled standpoint, I have written down a timeline of what my personal days look like where we are staying in Cambodia. This month we are in a tiny little village called Kampong Speu teaching English Monday – Friday. On the weekends, we have off on Saturdays from ministry and on Sunday, we go to church and do random ministry in the afternoon.

Here's a look into what I do each day here at the village.

7:45am or earlier – Wake up for the day and pat down your bed hair.

8:00am – Breakfast time! Typically a Cambodian original such as noodles with green. Let's not forget Nescafe ice coffee to add a little spark to your day.

9:00am – First English class of the day teaching basic skills for English and how to start sentences. The kids are really enthusiastic, but you might still be trying to wake up.

10am – Class is done, so you have a plethora of options: play guitar, lay in the hammock, read up for the next class, sleep some more, work out, bathe, or play with one of the gazillion kids running around either naked, half naked (a shirt on, but let's just forget about pants or even undies), or fully (and I do mean fully as in long sleeved shirts and pants) clothed.

11:30a – Lunch. Another Cambodian dish. There is always rice, however.

12p to 3p – Do another one of your plethora of options. My personal favorite is mixing it all up at once like listening to music as I am lying in the hammock with one of the cute kids.

3p – Advanced English class for all the students who are a little farther in their English.

4p – If it's a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, you might find yourself doing one-on-one English lessons with one of the Cambodian girls and she asks you to teach her Spanish and how to pronounce all the countries you've been to and are going to.

5p – Relax until dinner.

6p – Dinner.

6:30p – It's your turn in the day to wash dishes with your partner.

7p – Bible study time. Half of the time is teaching English and the other half is teaching a Bible lesson. The whole time, you are trying to make it fun for all the 30-40 kids who are wild, crazy, and loud…yet almost all of them are listening to what you have to say.

8:30p – Team time. Time for the team to unwind from the day together, spend time with one another, and encourage and feedback one another.

10p – Writing in your journal for the day and then going to bed.

And there you go. That's what it looks like…in writing at least. I am loving my time in Cambodia. So many things going on at all times. Thanks for all your continued prayers! They mean so much.
