Half Way to Forever.
I am laying in my bed in a hostel, with a room full of strangers, sweating like crazy, and I strategically placed myself close to a restroom, because I thought I would be brave and try some more delicious street food…
every month I learn my lesson the hard way…
… but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world.
It's moments like this that I just sit and laugh, and soak in a bucket of gratitude and process every detail of how unbelievably blessed I am. How blessed I am that God called me, his daughter, to walk out this wild, fun, crazy, hard, eye opening journey with Him. In the last six months God showed me a glimpse of His majesty in six different countries, and paved the way for me to work with 6 incredible ministries. He hand picked 46 individuals that I can call family, to live life with, love and fight for every second of everyday. God taught me that He is a God of good gifts, that He knows the deepest desires of our hearts and wants to share that with us. He brought me to see His beautiful creation in some of the most amazing places to find rest and explore the backyard He created for us to play in. God has allowed me to experience so many new things, He has stretched me beyond what I ever imagined, He has challenged me, He has invited me into new depths of His love. He has created divine appointments for us to witness healing people right before our eyes. He created the space for sweet, divine play dates with His children in so many places. God has showed me over and over again the ways He fights for His children and led me to be His hands and feet, to love orphans, widows and prostitutes all over the world. But, most importantly in the last six months I have had the opportunity and privilege to walk out this life side by side with Him:
the Lover of my soul…
my Creator.
my King of Kings,
my Abba,
my Father in Heaven,
my Healer,
my Redeemer,
my Comfort,
my Resting place,
my Dance partner in life,
my Adventure buddy,
My Daddy .
God has created each of us uniquely, and placed us all over the world to live life. No matter where you are and what you may be doing all He wants is for you to do life with Him. So, it may be in 11 countries in 11 months, or it may be back home at a desk in a business, or in a school, or a coffee shop. It does not matter where you are, God is inviting you to walk life side by side with Him. When you live life walking in a relationship with Him, you will see His majesty light up your world. You will recognize the blessings around you, you will see the ways He heals, fights for His children and loves outrageously. Your eyes will be opened to opportunities to love His children with fierce intentionality, the way He has always loved us. I am so thankful for this season of my life. Time is going by so quickly, It blows my mind that I am half way through my race. But I know at the end of this 11 month journey, it will really only be the beginning of a fun new season, walking life side by side with My Daddy forever.
