Ah Guatamala, I will certainly see you again. This past month I have lived, and to the real sense of the word ¨lived¨. I realized as I sat early one morning in a cafe, sharing coffee with a friend, reading the paper in Spanish, across from two cops that I had acheived Solidarity with Panajachel Guatamala. I used this solidarity and the trust that is had to in my eyes effectively share the love of God with people. Every day, every walk down the street was an encouragement for someone it seemed. On our first night we ran into a tienda looking for chocobananas after a beatifuly encouraging service, we met two sweet small ones with the most clear spanish I had ever heard. We joked a bit and left to not see them again. On my last night I jumped out of a tienda with Pedro and nearly landed on top of two small ones pushing a cart full of goods. They were bent over and pushing and pulling the load, I looked down and heard a crisp voice speak out greetings. It was these two. I took thier load as I knew where they lived and the hill was too steep for these. They ran behind and jumped with laughter. My last ministry came full circle with one of my first, such was life in Pana, such as life should be lived, with the perfect timing of God and the obedience to follow when he does show up. I unfortunely have little in the way of pictures for this past month, but what I have, I give you.

Only the middle one was taken by me. 1. Alex, little smartalik, love him. 2. On Mardi Gras a little girl dumped confetti on a strangers head, we´ve been good friends since, I made a pie for her!. 3. 5:00 kayak trip

Here in the rocks and mud/stick combo house on the side of the hill above San Catarina you will find the greatest veiw of the lake and a beautiful family to compliment it. Catarina stands strong in the face of the mental illness´, drunkedness, and various other sickness in her family. She stands strong but now she doesn´t stand alone, I believe she has a greater understanding of the grace of God than most, though she has never been able to read the bible nor has had the support of the church. My prayer is that I will return and see others standing strong with her, that a church has been formed around her, and that the same smile that erupts from emilia (crouching) is found again. Till that lovely day…
