just saw a trailer for a movie called “three times”. It is about a love between the same two people in three different time periods. What I presume plays out is the huge cultural differences with the same love. It dubbed her brushing his hair like a maid in the earliest time period, and her smoking a cigarette in another. Times change, people change, how does love change? I think this is an interesting topic, because, if I were to have found God a hundred years ago, what would my faith look like, how would my love compare? How much does society and culture add or subtract to the love God is trying to reach us with. It will be a great thing to discover these things when we take this journey as well. As we leave this place, can we open ourselves to shed off the culture that has to this day defined us. What a beautiful wonders we are to discover.
